MATH 115 - Pre-Calculus Credit(s): 3 PRE-CALCULUS Component: Lecture The various classes of functions and their graphs are explored. Functionclasses include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential,logarithmic and trigonometric. Skills and concepts needed for calculus (MATH221) are emphasized. Repeatable for Credit: N Allowed Units: 3 Multiple Term Enrollment: N Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: Requires a grade of C- or better in MATH 010 or students must achieve an acceptable score on the Math Placement Assessment in accordance with current standards determined by the Department of Mathematical Sciences. ANTIREQ: Students who received credit in MATH 117 , MATH 221 , MATH 222, MATH 231 , MATH 241 , MATH 242 , or MATH 243 are not eligible to take this course without permission.
