MATH 115 - Pre-Calculus

PRE-CALCULUS
Component: Lecture
The various classes of functions and their graphs are explored. Functionclasses include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential,logarithmic and trigonometric. Skills and concepts needed for calculus (MATH221) are emphasized.

PREREQ: Requires a grade of C- or better in MATH 010  or students must achieve an acceptable score on the Math Placement Assessment in accordance with current standards determined by the Department of Mathematical Sciences. ANTIREQ: Students who received credit in MATH 117 , MATH 221 , MATH 222, MATH 231 , MATH 241 , MATH 242 , or MATH 243  are not eligible to take this course without permission.
