- Utilize foundational public health concepts and core public health competencies (as outlined in program accreditation standards) to meet public health challenges.

Apply behavior change principles, theories, and models to develop community health promotion strategies and programs focused on enhancing wellbeing, prevention, and/or management of chronic conditions.

Conduct theory-driven evaluation of health promotion programs, and utilize findings for dissemination and program improvement planning.

Demonstrate communication and advocacy skills to successfully disseminate health information for use by a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders.

Requirements for the Degree:
Core Courses:
Fifteen (15) credit hours. Required for all MPH concentrations.
