Program Requirements:
The Cognitive Science/Speech-Language Pathology 3+2 program allows students the ability to earn the Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in a total of five years of full-time study. All requirements for both degree programs must be satisfied. The total credits required for the 3+2 degree are 169 credits. See program policy document for a full list of requirements. Students apply (and are admitted to the 3+2 program if they meet the requirements) as juniors (before they graduate) but cannot remain in the program unless they earn a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science. Students should consult with their advisor early in the program to ensure they choose appropriate coursework. A maximum of 15 credits of graduate course work (600 level and above) taken in the Fall of year 4 of the 3+2 program (while an undergraduate), may be “dual-counted” toward the Bachelor’s and the Master’s degrees. |
